Useful Information

1. Alcohol reduces the healing potential and efficiency of blood plasma growth factors and stem cells. This is why a week before the scheduled surgery and at least 4-6 weeks after application its intake should be reduced to a minimum.

2. At least 12 hours prior to surgery do not consume foods with a high percentage of fat (yogurt, milk, cream, lard, butter, bacon, fried foods, creamy sauces, products from domestic slaughter, mayonnaise salads, oily fish, fatty cheeses, ice cream, whipped cream, cream cakes, etc.) to make the blood plasma after processing contain as little fat particles (chylomikra) as possible.

3. Before blood taking there is a need to increase the intake of fluids - at least 2 litres of fluids daily (water, mineral water, juices, non-alcoholic beer - no alcoholic drinks). From that prior to the blood taking and processing 1/2 litre no more than 1.5 hours prior to blood taking.

4. Do not eat 6 hours prior to collection of stem cells.
